Program Overview

Format: 100% Online, Self-Paced | Duration: 23 hours | Tuition: Free
Accreditation: CME/CE Credits (ACCME & NCCAOM)

The 2025 Integrative & Korean Medicine Training Program is a 23-hour online course developed for healthcare professionals seeking to broaden their knowledge in integrative approaches to clinical care. Sponsored by the Korean Ministry of Health and Welfare in collaboration with the National Institute of Korean and Oriental Medicine Development, the course offers a structured introduction to Korean medicine and its evidence-based integration into modern healthcare.

Participants may complete the course at their own pace.

Educational Objectives

  • A foundational understanding of integrative and Korean medicine
  • Clinical application of Korean medical practices, with a focus on musculoskeletal disorders
  • A specialized module on ultrasound-guided acupuncture and injection techniques
  • Evidence-informed protocols for managing common conditions such as:
    - Insomnia
    - Facial nerve palsy
    - Acupuncture during pregnancy
    - Post-stroke sequelae
    - Allergic rhinitis
    - Functional dyspepsia
    - Dysmenorrhea

Who Should Enroll

This course is designed for licensed healthcare professionals with at least three years of clinical experience, including:
  • Medical doctors (MD, MBBS, DO)
  • Nurses
  • Acupuncturists
  • Physical therapists
  • Chiropractors
  • Other licensed health professionals
Prior experience with Korean or integrative medicine is not required.

In-Person Extension Program (Optional)

Participants who complete the online course by September 30, 2025 are eligible to enter a draw for a fully sponsored in-person training program in Seoul, Korea (excluding airfare).
Program Dates: November 17–21, 2025
Includes:
  • 6-night hotel accommodation in Gangnam
  • Meals and ground transportation
  • A 5-day in-person integrative medicine program exploring the Korean healthcare system and culture.
  • Hands-on training in Korean medicine clinical practice

How to Enter the Draw to Korea

  1. Complete the online program by September 30, 2025
  2. Submit the post-course survey
  3. 10 participants will be randomly selected on October 1, 2025
  4. Winners announced October 2, 2025, via email and the official website
