Program Overview

The 2025 Integrative and Korean Medicine Training Program is a 23-hour online initiative designed to introduce healthcare professionals globally to the principles of Integrative and Korean Medicine. Sponsored by the Korean Ministry of Health and Welfare in collaboration with the National Institute of Korean and Oriental Medicine Development, Participants can complete the program at their own pace.

Program Focus:

  • Tailored for healthcare professionals with minimal or no prior exposure to Integrative and Korean medicine.
  • In-depth exploration of the application of Integrative and Korean medicine in contemporary clinical settings, emphasizing evidence-based practices.
  • Immersive module on ultrasound-guided acupuncture techniques, reflecting current innovations in Integrative and Korean medicine.
  • Primary focus on treatments for musculoskeletal disorders.
  • Ultrasound guided injectinos and acupuncture
  • Includes integrative medicine lectures on insomnia, acupuncture during pregnancy, facial nerve palsy, post-stroke sequelae, allergic rhinitis, functional dyspepsia, and dysmenorrhea.

Benefits and Opportunities

Upon successful completion of the program, participants can apply for a one-week, in-person extension program in South Korea from November 17-21, 2025 . This includes:
  • Accommodation at a prestigious hotel in Gangnam for 6 nights.
  • Covered meals and transport.
  • A 5-day in-person integrative medicine program exploring the Korean healthcare system and culture.
  • Note: Airfare is not covered.

How to Enter the Draw to Korea

  1. Complete the program before September 30.
  2. Finish the survey to enter the draw.
  3. 10 participants will be randomly selected on October 1, 2025 and winners will be announced October 2, 2025 and be notified via email and our website. 
  4. Winners will fly to Korea for a 1-week in-person learning experience in Korean Medicine.

Eligibility

To complete this program, you must:
  • Have at least 3 years of clinical experience.
  • Be a healthcare professional in one of the following fields: medical doctor (MD, MBBS, DO), nurse, acupuncturist, physical therapist, or chiropractor and any other healthcare professions. 

This program offers a unique opportunity for healthcare professionals to enhance their knowledge and skills in Integrative and Korean medicine, with the added benefit of experiencing Korean culture and healthcare first-hand.

Leading Education in Integrative and Korean Medicine

Jaseng Hospital of Korean Medicine is a premier institution for Integrative and Korean medicine in Korea, operating 21 branches nationwide with 3.1 million patient visits annually. Opportunity to Visit Korea and Receive Hands-on Training

Participants who successfully complete the program will have the exclusive opportunity to apply for a one-week, in-person extension program in South Korea. This extension offers comprehensive insights into Integrative and Korean Medicine and the broader Korean healthcare system. Accommodations and expenses (excluding airfare) will be provided, facilitating an enriching educational and cultural experience. Participants can visit related institutions such as Jaseng Medi-Bio Center and Jaseng Spine & Joint Research Institute.
