Overview

Join Jaseng Hospital of Korean Medicine, South Korea’s leading integrative medicine institution, for an exclusive in-person seminar exploring the clinical foundations and innovations of Korean Medicine. This 3-hour continuing education (CE) course is designed for licensed acupuncturists, physicians, and healthcare professionals who are interested in Korean and Integrative approaches to non surgical care of the spine and Joints. 

Led by Jaseng physicians and educators from Jaseng’s medical team, this half-day seminar introduces key concepts in Korean Medicine and Jaseng’s internationally recognized clinical methodologies.

It will feature practical insights of Jaseng’s signature treatments such as Chuna Manual Medicine (CMM) and Motion Style Acupuncture Treatment (MSAT) and an Introduction to Acupuncture Injection Therapy (AIT) also known as pharmacopuncture a Korean form of Herbal injection therapy using herbal and natural extracts.

Learning Objectives

  1. Understand the core principles and unique characteristics of Korean Medicine, and how Jaseng integrates them into its treatment model.
  2. Develop clinical competency in applying integrative treatment approaches in conjunction with conventional diagnostic methods.
  3. Enhance clinical performance by learning how to implement Motion Style Acupuncture Treatment (MSAT) for effective management of acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions.
  4. Build foundational knowledge of Acupuncture Injection Therapy (Pharmacopuncture), including its principles, clinical indications, and supporting evidence.

Meet Our Instructors

Dr. Youngsuk Yoon

KMD,  Korean Medicine Rehab Specialist
Dr. Yoon is a licensed Korean Medicine Doctor (KMD) specialist in Korean Medicine Rehabilitation with Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Certification (RMSK) credentials. With over a decade of clinical experience, Dr. Yoon is an expert in integrative pain management, musculoskeletal diagnostics, and advanced injection-based therapies. His approach emphasizes safety, anatomical precision, and real-world application of Acupuncture Injection Therapy.

Dr. Nakyoung Lee

KMD
Dr. Lee is a resident physician currently training to become a specialist in Internal Medicine within the Korean Medicine system. With a growing foundation in diagnostic reasoning and integrative therapeutics, she supports the hands-on components of the course by bridging foundational knowledge with clinical application. Her interests include internal disorders, functional diagnostics, and safe, patient-centered use of injection therapy in complex cases.

Dr. Andrew Jang

LAc, MPH
Andrew Jang is a researcher and licensed acupuncturist, currently serving as Team Leader at Jaseng Medical Academy in South Korea. He specializes in integrative medicine, with a focus on Korean medicine, acupuncture and medical education . Andrew is actively involved in international academic collaborations, CME program development, and systematic reviews. Passionate about evidence-based practice, he bridges clinical innovation and education to advance global understanding and acceptance of Korean integrative healthcare.
