CME Credits

Physicians quite often solely rely on their palpatory knowledge and skills to guide the injection during clinical practice. So a high level of palpation skills and a thorough understanding of human anatomy and the ability to utilize anatomical landmarks as a point of reference are very important.

This CME session will outline how palpatory methods and evidence are used in clinical research and clinical practice including the accuracy of Tuffier’s Line using the conventional palpation methods and as well as additional conventional palpation methods.
At the end of this activity, learners would be able to

1. Understand the concepts behind palpation-guided injection and be able to practice more accurate injection in clinical settings, recommended by various studies.
2. Understand the comparison palpation guided Tuffier's line and image-guided Tuffier's line method, and apply different methods to increase the accuracy of palpation guided injection.
3. Identify variables that may reduce the accuracy of palpation and apply it to clinical practice and understand different palpation methods.

If you paid for an individual course and it is not what you were expecting, you can request a refund within 14 days of your payment. You are not eligible for a refund if you’ve completed 50% or more of the course, earned a course certificate, or 14 days have passed since your payment. However, if a course you purchased is disabled for legal or policy reasons, or in cases of system error, you are entitled to request a refund beyond the 14-day limit.
