In this CME session, we will explore ultrasound-guided pharmacopuncture approaches to the major peripheral nerves of the lower limb, focusing on practical lower-extremity sonoanatomy and safe needle guidance techniques. The lecture highlights systematic ultrasound scanning methods, identification of key peripheral nerves, and step-by-step procedural strategies for image-guided pharmacopuncture to improve procedural precision and patient safety.

Participants will gain practical insights into nerve identification, probe positioning, needle trajectory planning, real-time needle visualization, and complication prevention, enabling them to apply precise and safe ultrasound-guided pharmacopuncture techniques in lower-extremity pain management.
At the conclusion of the session, learners should be able to:

1. Enhance medical knowledge by understanding the basic sonoanatomy of the major nerves in lower extremities.

2. Improve clinical competency by adapting new practical skills in pain management interventions for the lower extremities.

3. Enhance patient outcomes by adapting more precise and safe pharmacopuncture injection techniques for patients with knee osteoarthritis and peripheral neuropathy of the lower extremities.
