Learning Objectives

In this CME session, we will explore ultrasound-guided pharmacopuncture approaches to the major lumbar nerve roots, focusing on practical lumbar sonoanatomy, and safe needle guidance techniques. The lecture highlights systematic scanning methods, in-plane and out-of-plane approaches, and step-by-step procedural strategies for interventions to improve precision and patient safety.

Participants will gain practical insights into pre- and post-procedural workflows, entry-point planning, real-time needle visualization, and complication prevention, enabling them to apply precise and safe ultrasound-guided pharmacopuncture techniques.
At the conclusion of the session, learners should be able to:

1. Enhance medical knowledge by understanding the basic sonoanatomy of lumbar spine and nerve roots.

2. Improve clinical competency by adapting new practical skills in pharmacopuncture techniques.

3. Enhance patient outcomes by adapting more precise and safe pharmacopuncture injection techniques to L-SPINE HIVD patients.
